arrived in Bad Aibling, West Germany as a Russian translator for the U.S. Army

honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and returned to the United States

entered The Ohio State University College of Education

graduated from The Ohio State University (Bachelor of Science in Education). Began teaching English and Latin at Whitehall Yearling High School
